Senior Site Core Developer (Sitecore XP / .NET)

Our client is a well-established and forward-thinking digital organization with a strong focus on delivering exceptional online experiences across a diverse portfolio of brands. They are currently undertaking several key engineering initiatives to enhance and modernize their digital platforms, and are seeking an experienced Sitecore Engineer to join their team on a contract basis.

The Role

As a Software Engineer (Sitecore), you will play a critical role in accelerating the migration of forms and content from a legacy CMS into Sitecore XP 10.2. You’ll work collaboratively with UX, product, and engineering teams to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions within an agile environment.

Once the initial migration phase is complete, you’ll continue contributing to broader Sitecore-focused engineering tasks, including platform optimization, upgrades, and CI/CD improvements.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the migration of forms from a legacy CMS into Sitecore Forms (XP 10.2).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to unpack requirements and deliver features to agreed sprint goals.
• Investigate and prototype potential upgrades to Sitecore 10.4 (or later).
• Optimize CI/CD pipelines to enable faster and more reliable Sitecore deployments.
• Contribute to the ongoing enhancement and maintenance of Sitecore-based solutions.
• Follow agile/scrum practices to deliver high-quality software within defined timelines.

Essential Skills

• Deep Sitecore XP (10.x) experience.
• Strong modern .NET and C# development background.
• Experience with CI/CD tooling (preferably Azure DevOps).
• Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum delivery practices.
• Experience with unit, integration, and automation testing.
• Familiarity with Azure cloud services (App Services, Functions).
• Understanding of Sitecore Helix architecture.

Desirable Skills

• Front-end experience with TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Sitecore or Azure certifications (e.g., AZ-204, AZ-900).
