QA Manager

The Job

As our QA Manager you will play a critical role to lead and grow our Quality Assurance function. This is a hands-on and strategic role, combining technical leadership with people management and process ownership.

You will be responsible for defining and driving QA strategy across the entire SDLC, managing both manual and automation QA engineers, and ensuring the highest quality standards across all releases. Working closely with Backend, Frontend, DevOps, and Product teams you will have full QA ownership across multiple environments and brands.

Key aspects of the role include leading the QA team, building and evolving our automation capabilities, defining company-wide QA processes and quality gates, and acting as a quality ambassador across the organisation. You will play a central role in improving release confidence, test coverage, and overall product stability.

About you

You are a QA professional with strong technical foundations and proven leadership experience. You enjoy being close to the detail while also thinking strategically about how QA can scale and continuously improve.

You have:

• 4+ years’ experience in QA, including at least 1–2 years in a senior or leadership role
• A strong understanding of QA methodologies, testing strategies, and SDLC processes
• Hands-on experience with test automation for UI and/or APIs
• Experience with tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Postman, JMeter, or similar
• Confidence working with CI/CD pipelines (e.g. GitLab CI, Jenkins, Azure DevOps)
• Solid knowledge of API testing and REST principles
• Excellent communication, organisational, and mentoring skills
• The ability to manage multiple priorities and guide teams through change
• Ideally, you’ll also bring experience from regulated or high-compliance environments, exposure to performance testing, familiarity with modern infrastructure (Docker, Kubernetes, cloud platforms), and experience helping to build or mature a QA function.
