QA Automation Engineer
The Job
We are looking for a QA Automation Engineer (Developer in Test) who wants to completely own quality across all customer-facing channels (Web, iOS, and Android). You won’t just be executing tests; you will be designing the entire automation strategy from the ground up.
Key Responsibilities
- Greenfield Automation: Design, build, and scale our frontend test automation frameworks entirely from scratch.
- End-to-End Quality: Ensure flawless performance across critical user journeys, including signup/onboarding, high-transaction deposit/withdrawal flows
- Multi-Platform Consistency: Guarantee a seamless user experience across Web, iOS, and Android via cross-browser, cross-device, and visual regression testing.
- CI/CD Integration: Bake automated testing directly into our deployment pipelines to ensure ultimate release confidence.
- Drive Culture: Champion an automation-first mindset across the business, targeting 80–85% automation coverage.
About You
You are an automation engineer who wants to define how quality works, not just write code to maintain inherited processes.
Required Experience
- The Hybrid Expert: Proven experience as an SDET / QA Automation Engineer covering both Web and Mobile applications.
- The Tech Stack: Hands-on experience with Playwright, Cypress, or Puppeteer (for Web) alongside mobile frameworks like Appium, Maestro, XCUITest, or Espresso.
- Coding Skills: Strong programming capabilities in JavaScript, TypeScript, Java, or similar modern languages.
- Integration Savvy: Strong background in API testing, frontend UI behaviour, and integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines.
