Insight Analyst
The Job
As a Senior Insights Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in uncovering critical consumer truths and translating them into strategic recommendations for our clients. You will be a highly skilled and strategic thinker, adept at connecting disparate pieces of information to address key business and client objectives. Your responsibilities will include:
- Understanding the context of client business problems to inform the creation of user-centric products and experiences that solve pain points.
- Applying your deep expertise in various insights techniques (spanning secondary and primary research) and contributing to the development of innovative research capabilities within the practice.
- Developing into an internal expert and consultant for the Strategic Insights team.
- Taking primary responsibility for converting business objectives into clear research objectives, identifying the most appropriate research methods and tools to generate actionable insights.
- Crafting insightful research discussion guides and survey questionnaires.
- Setting up and managing research studies on relevant testing platforms.
- Gathering, analyzing, and synthesizing data from diverse sources, both new and historical, to extract meaningful insights.
- Effectively communicating synthesized insights to both internal and external stakeholders.
- Facilitating workshops and leading decision-making meetings to drive projects forward.
- Collaborating closely with key stakeholders at both the Client and within our consultancy to assess business challenges and develop and execute customized learning plans or insights roadmaps.
- Providing expert consultation, advice, and influence to internal team members on insights methodologies, their application, and interpretation.

About You
To excel in this role, you will bring the following skills and experience:
- A Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited institution.
- 5+ years of proven experience in consumer research, gained either on the supplier or client side within a private, public, government, or military setting.
- Demonstrated expertise in designing research studies with strategically aligned research objectives and measurable success metrics.
- Comprehensive knowledge and practical experience in designing and executing a wide range of insights methodologies across both secondary and primary research techniques (including qualitative and/or quantitative approaches).
- Hands-on experience in managing the full lifecycle of research studies, from initial exploratory research through concept testing and product usability testing.
- Exceptional oral, written, and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate complex information clearly and concisely.
- Strong analytical acumen to effectively organize, interpret, and synthesize data, transforming it into actionable insights.
- A proven ability to develop clear and compelling storylines and recommendations based on research findings.
Duration
This is a 5 month contract initially with plenty of scope for extension
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in Data and Analytics, including analyzing proprietary and third-party data, building data strategies, implementing data governance, and collaborating with Data Engineering or Data Science teams on model development.
- A Master's degree or PhD in a relevant field such as Marketing Research, Mathematics, Analytics, Human-Centered Design Research, Psychology, and/or User Experience.
- Prior experience as an Insights professional within key industries such as Consumer Packaged Goods, Government, Healthcare/Medical, and Industrial.
