Data Architect
The Job
Working as a Data Architect you will lead the design and implementation of Girlguiding’s strategic data architecture, platform and capability. You will align the data strategy with the client strategy. You will work in a new team and have responsibility for helping the organisation make sense of the data that they already have and build a new vision of how data can help the members and volunteers.
You will design the strategic data architecture, the data platform, the logical data model, defining how all data entities and object across the organisation are related.
You will champion data management best practice by working closely with stakeholders.
You will turn business requirements into technical requirements and architecture to solve these needs.
You will work with a Data Business analyst, a solutions architect, data engineers / analysts and 3rd party suppliers.
About you
You will be an experienced data Architect with broad data experience, architecting platforms (cloud) and building the data model. You should have a great grasp of GDPR, governance and good knowledge of data security.

The money
£55,568 + £3500 (London Allowance) plus 10% pension + generous benefits + 25 days holiday + 5 days (to do good)
Location
Hybrid - London - average two days a week, or 40% of working time across the year.
