Business Analyst (deligated authority)
The Job
As a Business Analyst, you will join a team working on a high-impact, wholesale transformation of a specialty insurance business. Currently two years into a five-year journey, to re-engineer their underwriting and claims platforms, in-housing property claims, and building a new pricing engine for our actuaries.
As a Business Analyst, you will be a "cradle-to-grave" contributor, jumping between various solutions to improve business processes. Your immediate focus will be to work across all of these initiatives getting involved with, traceability matrices, functional and non-functional requirements. before taking the lead on your own specialty projects.
About You
You are a seasoned Business Analyst who doesn't just know "generic" insurance; you understand the intricacies of the Delegated Authority (DA) market. You can walk into a room with C-suite stakeholders and hold your own because you know exactly what a line slip, a binder, or a bordereaux is. Whether your background is 10 years in claims or 10 years in underwriting, you must understand how insurance business is conducted through coverholders and brokers.
