The job

As the scrum master your job will be to own the scrum master delivery function in this large organisation.Sitting within a large change function you will line manage a team of 11 scrum masters and look to increase the portfolio of the scrum team to cover different disciplines as the business embraces agile techniques.

To be successful here you need to have been a scrum master in the past (you are probably a certified scrum master) and you will have directly line managed people (not matrix managed).This means you will have worked through hiring, maternity leave, and employee development etc.

The successful applicant will have a varied role that will see you working with the wider business in terms of delivering in an agile way and the day to day management of the team.

You will not be managing the day to day work of your scrum masters (they work across various programmes),though you will be there to support them and dropping into their projects when sickness or holidays occur.

This is a senior job in the business, you will be building on a solid foundation, but there is still work to be done.

About you

You will have been a scrum master in the past and you will need to have line managed people in the past. Any accreditation SAFe or scrum master would be great.Job titles that I might be suitable include lead scrum master or delivery manager
