The Job

As a Technical Account Manager person, you will be assigned to a large key account with circa 20 sites spread around the Staffordshire area to nurture the existing relationships and to keep building upon the existing platform. Therefore, we are looking for solutions-driven individuals with a strong technical acumen and a keen sense for problem-solving within a client facing environment. Having a broad technical background and understanding of MS365, Cisco Meraki, VLANS and how the technology fits together is essential for this role in addition to client facing experience understanding customer requirements and proposing suitable billable solutions.  There will be at least one major project per year to support on.

About you

You will possess a customer-centric attitude and proven ability to prioritise and manage tasks with attention to detail as well as the following:

  • Proven experience working in a Technical Account Manager with some technical pre-sales experience.
  • Solid working knowledge of Windows desktop operating systems, as well as Microsoft Office suite, Cisco Meraki, networking – understanding VLANS.
  • Project Management
  • Driving License – the role will require you to travel to difference customer sites in and around the Staffordshire area (circa 4-5 days per month).
  • Vendor / Supplier management
  • Technology / Computer science degree or similar
  • Previous experience of working effectively in an MSP environment
  • Excellent communication skills
