Senior Technical Project Manager – Financial Services Consultancy – London
The Job
A Senior Technical Project Manager is required by a consultancy based in London as part of a newly formed “technical delivery practice”. Your job will be to mentor and install a best practice mindset amongst a multi-disciplined technical team as well as deliver a variety of technology projects within an internally client facing environment from scoping to execution and post implementation.
You will engage with a broad range of stakeholders (engineers, architects, product managers, business analysts) and whilst the role does not require you to come from a technical background, the job will need you to be comfortable conversing with technical members of the team so you can drive the delivery of the projects in line with the overall strategy.
About you
You will be a Technical Project Manager who has delivered a variety of technical projects (SaaS & internally developed solutions rather than infrastructure) in both Agile and Waterfall environments and be able to work in a fast moving, sometimes ambiguous environment where priorities can change swiftly.
You will have strong experience leading and mentoring technical teams to successfully deliver projects.
You will be an excellent communicator with the confidence to navigate your way through a newly forming practice and influence stakeholders.
You must be able to get to the central London offices circa 2 days per week.
