Service Engineer Microsoft Lead - 2/3rd Line
Working as Service engineering lead your job will be to be the escalation point from the service desk (1/2nd Line support) to solve It service issues around the microsoft tech stack, this will involve SCCM, Office 365, windows 10, networking, sharepoint and Azure.
This is a hands on service desk job that requires you to have broad, in depth experience around most areas of the Microsoft stack, you will work in a team of two people and you will be responsible for solving any issues not solved by the 1st and 2nd Line support teams. To enable you to solve complex issues you will work with various SME’s and 3rd Line support teams.
You will spend around 30% of your on project work, upgrading solutions, building out processes and improving the performance of the 2nd line support team. The rest of the time will be spent solving problems and BAU. You will lead a team of two people and would like you to up-skill the service desk and reduce the traffic heading to 3rd line support team.
Ideally you will have some MSP qualifications and have broad technical experience.
