Guidewire Integration Developer
Location: Remote (UK-based) or In-office, Guildford
Rate: £700/day (inside IR35)
As a Guidewire developer with experience in design and compliance with development processes, you will be responsible for understanding code – from the beginning stages through to the final one. You will be working with a decommissioning legacy claims handling system which works together with Guidewire Claimcenter to support projects. You will be handling updates and technical areas which need fixing.
You should also be comfortable working with automation tools and ensuring they are implemented effectively. Your experience should include deploying CI/CD and ensuring that the quality of code base is sufficient.
With experience as a Guidewire Integration developer, you will ideally have 5+ years of programming and design in Java with evidence of development and support using these relevant techs. You should also have 5+ years experience with complying with waterfall or agile processes and overseeing APIs. Your knowledge around Claimcenter (CC) model, entity models and pcf methods should be strong.
You should show past evidence of setting up wizard, claim setups and validation rules. As a Guidewire developer, your knowledge around CC web services (ideally CC 8 or higher) should be good and it would be beneficial if you had exposure to startable plugins and knowledge of MQs.
On the side of your soft skills, you should be a great communicator, portray leadership skills, be able to learn from and teach others, worked in an agile environment and having worked with off-shore developers will also benefit you.
